In commemoration of the 95th anniversary of the Church’s inception in the municipality of San Miguel, Bulacan, the brethren in the Ecclesiastical District of Bulacan North further intensified their efforts in the work of propagation, such as through the evangelical mission officiated by Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo on September 14, 2024.
After the opening prayer led by Brother Marco Arnel Tumanan, minister of the gospel, Brother Angelo Manalo, in his Bible-based homily, explained to the guests why Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members unceasingly share their faith with their fellowmen. Brother Angelo Manalo pointed out from the Bible God’s only way for people to be saved and that is by obeying His will and commandments whatever sacrifices one must make. Among such commandments is that which Christ teaches—one must enter the flock or the Church Of Christ.
The Local Congregation of San Miguel, one of the first congregations of the Church in the province of Bulacan, was established on September 29, 1929.
In the worship service officiated by Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo at the Local Congregation of Araneta, Ecclesiastical District of Central on September 8, 2024, he began his homily by expressing gratitude to the Almighty God for the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, has now reached the 15th year of his dynamic and triumphant administration of the entire Church. This milestone is a testament to God’s help and guidance being bestowed on him.
Brother Angelo Manalo reminded the brethren of how the Church Administration toils and labors to teach them God’s words and encourage them to remain resolute in their divine election. He highlighted that the Executive Minister aspires that in the end, every household and member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo receives the promised salvation. He emphasized what the Bible teaches that they should not only have faith in God but also live by faith to ensure their salvation. Living by faith means obeying the teachings of God written in the Bible, which the Church Administration diligently imparts to them.
The opening prayer for the worship service was led by Brother Daniel Aglipay Jr., minister of the gospel. Brother Leopoldo Jean Ricardo, also a minister of the gospel, led the prayer after the preaching of God’s words. As the congregational worship service concluded, the congregants left with their spirits rekindled and were all the more inspired to remain united with the Church Administration in doing what is pleasing to God.
