Members in the Local Congregation of Yaw-Yawi, Ecclesiastical District of San Jose, Mindoro Occidental, in the Philippines, joined hands for a Pasugo Drive on October 11, 2025.
Guided by resident minister Brother Mark Danreb Cueva, the brethren first gathered at their house of worship for a prayer before heading out to Yaw-Yawi 2, Barangay Murtha, San Jose, Occidental Mindoro—approximately three kilometers away from the house of worship.
“We’re happy to participate in this propagational activity being part of God’s work of salvation in our time,” said local congregation secretary Lea Marie Gregorio on behalf of fellow Binhi.
Personally handing out copies of the Pasugo: God’s Message magazine and religious pamphlets, the brethren’s initiative was welcomed by not only the Binhi members’ classmates but also relatives, friends, and neighbors. A total of 150 copies were distributed.
Asked what motivated him to join the activity, KADIWA and choir member Andrew Halbay shared, “The first ones who inspired me to strive in sharing the true faith are my parents. They always remind me never to neglect this sacred duty in the Church. In doing so, I’m not only being of help to the Church Administration but also giving glory to God.”
“Leading by example,” said deacon Isagani Apostol who saw the activity an opportune time to accompany his son Domennic and “teach him the importance of participating in this kind of activity, which is never in vain, being one of God’s commands.”
“It is joyful to see even the young brethren actively unite in spreading the true gospel. Through the effort of the brethren, more people have had the opportunity to learn more about the teachings of the Bible that we uphold in the Church Of Christ,” said Brother Cueva. — With assistance from Rustom Diosay
