Hundreds benefited from the medical and dental mission that Bulacan South Ecclesiastical District held at the house of worship compound of the Marilao Congregation on February 20, 2026.

Spearheaded by district supervising minister Eufracio B. Castillo Jr., the event was also the district’s and the congregation’s way of celebrating its 15th and 7th anniversaries, respectively.

The Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS) district president and dentist Sherwin Pasiola led fellow health professionals in providing free medical consultations, dental cleaning, tooth extraction, blood pressure monitoring, and free medicines and vitamins. Included in the event’s program was dentist Romina Ignacio’s conversation with the parents and children on how to properly take care of the teeth.

“Taking care of oral health is very important because it has a big connection to the overall well-being. Tooth infections may begin to spread to the heart and other internal organs. That can be life-threatening and might even cause death if not prevented early on,” Ignacio explained.

On behalf of the beneficiaries, Brother Castillo said, “We’re thankful for the efforts of CMDPS officers who were instrumental in making this activity possible for the benefit of many.”

“Many benefited through medical mission, including me,” said head deacon Elpidio Tamayo Jr. “I thank the Church Administration for supporting this activity that has helped me greatly as I’ve become more aware and cautious of my health condition.”

“It feels fulfilling that I can use my profession to help those who are in need of medical assistance,” said CMDPS district vice president and registered nurse Albert Isip, one of the facilitators. — With assistance from district multimedia
