On February 23, 2024, the Ecclesiastical District of Buug, Zamboanga Del Sur, Mindanao, Philippines, held a clean-up activity under the INC Giving project of the Church Of Christ. Brethren gathered first at the houses of worship of the Local Congregations of Buug and Imelda wherein they received instructions pertinent to the activity.

Led by Brother Jose DP. Salvador Jr., district supervising minister, and Brother Patrick Medina, assistant district supervising minister, the brethren proceeded to separate venues for the clean-up activity.

“This activity that we conduct today is in line with the teaching of our Lord God, that whenever we possibly can, we should do good to others,” explained Brother Salvador. “The clean-up drive aims to promote environmental awareness and to contribute to maintaining the cleanliness of the surrounding community,” he added.

“I am truly grateful to be part of this kind of activity the Church Administration launched,” expressed Jerry Jacinto, head deacon in Imelda. “This way we’re able to not only clean the environment but also strengthen the bond among us Church members.”
