The Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) keeps thriving in England, a proof of which is the establishment of its new group worship service (GWS) in Canterbury, under the Ecclesiastical District of Britain South.

The inaugural worship service of the Canterbury GWS was held on November 27, 2025 in its place of worship located at the Canterbury Umbrella Centre, 22 St. Peter’s Place, Canterbury, England.

District assistant supervising minister Brother Glenn Ching officiated at the holy gathering. In his sermon, he exhorted those in attendance to fully prepare for the salvation on the nearing return of the Savior by faithfully obeying all of God’s commandments taught in the Church Of Christ, including being devoted to serving and worshiping God no matter what happens.

The GWS’s pioneering members used to attend worship services with the Local Congregation of Orpington, 40 miles away from their place of worship.

“This place of worship serves as a place where we worship God and conduct our devotional prayers,” said resident ministerial worker Brother Adrian Paul Morales. “On behalf of my brethren here, we thank the Church Administration for caring for our faith. We promise to remain zealous in fulfilling our duties to God.”

“I’m really joyous as the Lord God heard our devotional prayers of having a place of worship nearer to us,” said deacon Darwin Cabansag. “Amid life’s challenges, I promise to uphold as a priority my services to Him. May God help us to be instrumental for the further growth of the Church in this place.” — With assistance from Aleczandrei Nigel Lucero
