“It’s so beautiful, my heart’s so delighted. Our congregation has been praying for this,” said choir member Kate Maglalang from Capalangan Congregation, Pampanga East District. “Praises be to God. Our dream has come true,” added another choir member, Nestor Narciso.
Maglalang and Narciso were referring to their congregation’s 150-seater new house of worship that was dedicated to God during a special worship service held on January 30, 2026.
District supervising minister Brother Alex M. Lubao officiated at the dedication service. In his Bible-based homily, he exhorted the brethren to uphold a righteous life as God’s servants should, while staying active in Church works, as well as taking care of the house of worship.
“We have our fair share of trials, but we never allow ourselves to be hindered from worshiping God,” shared local congregation chronicler Mhiel Jayehn Danganan. “It feels rewarding when we’re finally inside this house of worship. The thought that we will now be able to continue in our services to Him brings us so much joy.” — With research assistance from Are-ar Roque
