Brethren in the Goroka Group Worship Service (GWS), in Papua New Guinea, held a Care for Humanity at the National Sports Institute in Goroka on October 21, 2025. More than 370 benefited.
Led by district treasurer Brother Romie Cartalaba and resident minister Brother Mark Jayson Montes, the activity started with the viewing of a video presentation featuring the socio-civic endeavors of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), including the biblical basis that emphasizes its significance nowadays.
The giving of care packages followed. Among those who benefited was pastor Elly Ambane of the Four Square Church in Goroka, who said on behalf of his fellowmen, “Witnessing this event, we’re very happy. We thank the Church Of Christ. These packages brought joy to us. This event benefitted a lot of my countrymen.” He later expressed his interest to know more about the biblical doctrines that the Church upholds.
