Brethren from the Local Congregation of Chula Vista in San Diego County, California Ecclesiastical District distributed copies of Pasugo: God’s Message magazine across several neighborhoods on January 17, 2026.
They aimed to share the true faith through, among others, the religious articles carried by the Church’s official publication, which discuss biblical teachings. Likewise, they took the opportunity to extend invitation to their upcoming evangelical missions slated January 23 to 25.
The Pasugo distribution drive covered areas in the second most populous city in San Diego County including Beyer Boulevard, Palm Avenue, Santa Alexia Ave., Santa Carolina Ave., Christina Ave., Vacaville Ave., Eastlake Greens, and Waterville Lake Road. Brethren went from house to house giving free copies of the magazine.
“Being able to invite others and share God’s message gives me joy,” expressed choir member Edith Indiongco. “It’s important to obey God’s command of spreading His teachings.”
“I’m grateful for how respectful and kind they are when they invited me,” one of those given a copy of the magazine by the name of Jess Cosentino remarked. “Receiving the God’s Message magazine gave me something meaningful to read, and I’m interested in learning more about what the Church teaches.”
District Light of Salvation overseer and congregation’s resident minister Brother Freddie Inot led the brethren in handing out no less than 200 copies of Pasugo.
“Even a simple invitation can make a difference,” said head deacon Rowell Correa. “God wants our fellowmen to be saved, so we continue to do our part with faith and sincerity.”
“I feel encouraged by the message in the magazine,” shared recipient Liliana Quinonez. “The articles explain biblical topics clearly, and the invitation made me feel welcome to attend the evangelical mission.” — With assistance from Christian Benedict Co
