The Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the Ecclesiastical District of Tokyo, Japan shared to more than a hundred guests the Bible truth regarding the path to eternal life through evangelical missions held in their respective local congregations’ houses of worship on February 15, 2026.
District supervising minister Brother Amante Rodriguez proclaimed the pristine gospel to the invitees of the brethren from the Chiba Local Congregation, as well as that from the Gunma-Ken Congregation and Takasaki Group Worship Service which connected through livestreaming.
Assistant district supervising minister Brother Kristoffer Reniel Gonzales led the study of God’s words at the Tochigi Congregation, whereas the other designated ministers preached in the rest of the congregations.
In unison, the officiating ministers emphasized from the Bible that the eternal life can be found in the Lord Jesus Christ Who is the head of His one body or the Church. They then encouraged the guests to heed the invitation of the Lord Jesus Himself to join His Church, the Church Of Christ, to have the right and privilege of receiving salvation on Judgment Day and eternal life in the Holy City.
“I’m touched by the biblical teaching. I understood the importance of prioritizing God by serving Him,” expressed guest of the Yokohama Congregation named Leny Kamoshida. “Understanding the blessing of eternal life, I see why Church members give importance to worship services, to God’s words, and in their duties in the Church.”
“In preparing for the work of propagation, I primarily strengthened myself spiritually through prayer and by remaining active in worship services,” said choir member Karin Sawada who performed her duty at the Kawasaki Congregation’s place of worship. “This is essential to become an effective instrument in sharing God’s words.”
“I’m happy when I’m able to bring a guest in evangelical missions,” said secretariat officer Elaine Takeuchi from Yokohama. “I promise to continue proclaiming the Church Of Christ to nonmembers and unite with the Executive Minister.”
Her guest who identified as Akiko Sakamo said of her experience in the evangelical mission: “The hymns I heard and the Bible-based lesson brought calmness to me. I want to continue listening to God’s teachings in this Church.” — With assistance from Wyrlo Ulayao and Seiko Sasaki
