The Ecclesiastical District of Batac City, Ilocos Norte in the Philippines, hosted a musical evangelical mission at the Mega Complex, a covered court in the town of Currimao, on April 23, 2024.

Nine choral groups from all over the district showcased their rendition of Iglesia Ni Cristo original music, which resonated biblical tenets that will guide people towards the true knowledge of God, and of His commands, especially true worship of Him.

“I’m privileged to be among the performers,” said Rienriev Cupay, a choir member from the Local Congregation of Batac City. “The Lord God did not forsake the choirs’ efforts. We will always be willing to be of help in the Church’s endeavors.”

“I was so delighted by the musical presentations and, as I keenly listened, these relayed God’s words. It’s really worth it to be here,” said Joseph Gaddi, a guest, adding, “It’s one-of-a-kind experience. I felt so welcomed, which goes to show how the Church is sincere in sharing the truth written in the Bible.”

The event began with a prayer led by Brother Noel Pangan, the district secretary, followed by the opening remarks by Brother Edwin Alcantara, the district supervising minister.

“The brethren were inspired to share the faith as the activity was also part of commemorating our district’s sixth anniversary. Above all, it was through the help of the Almighty Father that we were able to do so,” Brother Alcantara said. — With reports from Renalyn Rodrigo of INC News Section
