Coastal clean-up activities unite brethren in Capiz and Bogo City, Cebu

In a display of unity and environmental concern, brethren from the Ecclesiastical Districts of Bogo City, Cebu and Capiz, both part of the Visayas region of the Philippines, conducted a coastal clean-up drive in their respective areas.

Driven by their faith to be united with the Church Administration, brethren from the Local Congregations of Pondol, Dulangan, Pres. Roxas, Manoling, and Bughaan, as well as the Nabunbon Group Worship Service (GWS), under the supervision of the Ecclesiastical District of Capiz, joined together to clean the coastal area of Barangay Natividad, Pilar Capiz, on January 20, 2024.

Gelyn Dorado, choir member and district multimedia officer in the Local Congregation of Dulangan, shared, “As preparation, we went early to the venue to prepare the things necessary for the success of the activity.”

Brother Aaron Roque, resident ministerial worker of the said local congregation, emphasized, “The purpose of the activity is to help our fellow citizens residing in Barangay Natividad to maintain the cleanliness of the surroundings, especially on our shores.”
