Congregation and GWS in Mataas na Kahoy lend a hand, clean coast

Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members in the Local Congregation of Mataas na Kahoy and Lumang Lipa Group Worship Service (GWS) from the Ecclesiastical District of Batangas North in the Philippines united for a clean-up drive on March 23, 2024.
Organized by the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers, and guided by Brother Cristopher Jhun Dungo, resident ministerial worker, the activity engaged the brethren in segregating recyclable from non-recyclable wastes for proper disposal in designated trash bins.
“Cleaning the shore helps prevent water pollution for our and future generations’ benefit,” said Neil San Diego, Buklod congregation president.
The activity also “strengthened bonds among the brethren,” said Ma. Teresa Oseña, a choir member. — With reports from INC News Section
