Brethren in the Local Congregation of Dallas, Texas gathered to celebrate its 50th anniversary. The activity was held on February 21, 2026 at the Hilton Garden Inn, Lewisville, Texas.

Upon entering the venue, the brethren walked down memory lane as they perused through the photo exhibit mounted at the back of the main hall. The program started with a prayer led by the resident minister Brother Paul Ignacio. Performances featuring Iglesia Ni Cristo original music followed. Select choir members, all men’s group, and youth members respectively showcased their rendition of “The Glory of the Church Of Christ,” “May I Always Be True,” and “We Belong To God.”

The brethren who remain active members for so many years now, many even became and are still Church officers, received certificates.

“Dallas [Congregation] started with five initial members in 1976,” recounted pioneer member and head deacon Dean Malabanan Sr. “Few years later, we reached about a hundred … missionary works became more active and more people were introduced to the Church thereby signifying its growth.”

“I and my family witnessed the brethren’s growth not only in number but also in their faith. Being blessed to serve as officers, we’ve been able to guide and care for them,” attested Micah Rancho. “I believe that our growth is rooted in love. The love we have for God and His Church is what keeps all of us grounded, and continue to thrive not just as a local congregation but rather as a one big family,” she added.

District supervising minister Brother Andrey B. Silva graced the event with his presence. He also led the closing prayer. On behalf of the congregation, he said in an interview afterwards, “We were so happy and thankful. Through the years, brethren in this part of the world have indeed felt God’s love through the Church Administration led by the Executive Minister Brother Eduardo V. Manalo.

The said local congregation is under the supervision of the Ecclesiastical District of South Central States.
