“Sharing our faith in the French language is important, because here in Quebec there are a lot of people who speak French,” said Brother Frank Glenn Bunag, ministerial worker assigned at Laval, Quebec Group Worship Service. “It is thus only fitting that we use the said language as medium so that many more people may understand God’s work of salvation in our time,” he added.

On May 17, 2024, the Ecclesiastical District of Ottawa, Canada, hosted an evangelical mission for French-speaking residents.

Brother Aeron Mañabo, the assistant district supervising minister, led the preaching of God’s words in the place of worship of the Local Congregation of Montreal, Quebec. He emphasized the value of membership in the Church Of Christ for people to receive God’s promise of salvation.

“We hope those who are Francophone accept and obey God’s words of truth for them to also receive salvation on the Day of Judgment,” Brother Mañabo said.

Many guests attended, as brethren, parents and children alike, invited their French-speaking friends and acquaintances. “I am familiar with the language as are my friends. Fortunately, I was able to invite them for tonight’s event,” shared Lilianne St-Amand in the Local Congregation of Saint Laurent, Quebec. — With reports from Carlo Marquez of INC News Section
