District-wide ‘Welcome, Kapatid Ko’ held by Makati District

The Ecclesiastical District of Makati, in Metro Manila, Philippines, conducted a district-wide “Welcome, Kapatid Ko” (Welcome, My Brethren) activity, at the Cuneta Astrodome, Pasay City on February 23, 2024.
Attendees were treated to a variety of interactive games and, later that day, the screening of the movie “Guerrero Tres – Lalaban Hanggang Dulo,” an EVMedia film written and directed by the multi-awarded director Carlo Ortega Cuevas.
After watching the movie that fosters believing in, trusting in, and relying always on God, select brethren and the film’s casts performed special numbers that brought delight to the crowd.
“It has inspired me to not give up on any challenge in life,” said Gayzell Chloe Espallardo, a newly baptized member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) in the Local Congregation of North Signal.
“I’m uplifted in the faith. The brethren were so moved while watching the movie, even during the performances of select brethren,” enthused Jo Ann Panuelos, finance officer in Bel-Air Congregation, who served as the event host. — With assistance from Makati District Multimedia
