On January 3, 2026, the Dungannon Extension officially became part of the expanding Ireland Ecclesiastical District through its inaugural worship service held at the Dungannon Leisure Centre on Circular Road, Dungannon, Northern Ireland. Brother Pepito Y. Acuesta, district supervising minister, officiated at the sacred gathering.

Prior to its establishment, brethren from Dungannon, a town in County Tyrone, faced travel times of up to four hours to attend worship services in the Belfast Congregation. One of the head deacons, Brother Michael Dasalla Cruz, attested, “Transportation and commuting to the nearest place of worship were truly difficult. But with the help of God, we were able to overcome these challenges.”

Considering such predicament, the Church Administration approved the establishment of the Dungannon Extension to serve the growing needs of the congregation. Head deacon Manuelito Acosta Manalo expressed, “Our hearts are filled with gratitude to the Lord God, through the instrumentality of Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, the Executive Minister, for granting our prayers.”

“I feel truly blessed and grateful that the Dungannon Extension has been established, as it is closer to my home, making it easier for me to attend worship services and perform my duty as a choir member,” enthused Chloe Manalo.

Brother Rob Polancos, resident minister of the Local Congregation of Belfast, has been assigned to oversee the brethren in the newly established extension. He shared, “We recognize these as God’s blessings through the Church Administration, as having a place of worship that is easily accessible is a great blessing for the brethren. With the growing number of members in this area, the establishment of an extension was only fitting, and it is a clear manifestation that the Church continues to grow in this part of the world.”

Regular worship services of Dungannon Extension would be held at 8 Beechvalley Way, Dungannon, Northern Ireland. — With reports from Corinne Rhea Betsayda
