Part of the efforts to strengthen the brotherhood, the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) in the Local Congregation of Ellenbrook, Ecclesiastical District of Western Australia organized a mini-golf activity bringing together brethren in the local congregation. It was held at the Matagarup Mini Golf situated at Burswood Park, Perth, Australia on October 18, 2025.

After a briefing of the game mechanics, the participants were organized into batches. They then teed off at the 18-hole course.

After the last group has played, individual scores were gathered, then the winners were announced. First-placer Joel Itchon made it to the last hole with a total of 53 strokes, Macauley Larsen was named 2nd place with 55 strokes, and Raquel Itchon ranked 3rd with 59 strokes.

Local KADIWA president Malcolm Larsen described the activity as “fun and refreshing.” He further added, “Everyone enjoyed spending time together and getting to know one another better outside of our usual gatherings.” Binhi president Crystal Itchon said, “Definitely seeing everyone laugh and cheer each other on! I did not realize mini-golf could be so competitive in a good way!”

“I loved how everyone participated and encouraged each other,” expressed second head deacon and Children’s Worship Service teacher Ronald Leoncio. “Even though it was a friendly competition, the focus was really on unity and fellowship.”

In an interview, head deacon Enrique Muldong explained that the said activity “helps strengthen not only our unity but also our faith. Through these activities, we were reminded that the Church Administration encourages us to spend time together in ways that uplift both our spirit and our brotherhood.” —With reports from Charmaine Larsen
