“The lesson today is particularly relevant, especially considering the prevalent challenges parents face today regarding proper parenting and upbringing of their children,” said Ramon Johannes Robles, a guest of the Buenavista Congregation.

With the unceasing efforts of the brethren to share the true faith, more than 1,700 guests attended the evangelical mission led by Brother Arnel R. Canicosa, the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) School For Ministers (INC-SFM) President, at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Butuan City, Ecclesiastical District of Agusan Del Norte, on March 24, 2024.

Brother Canicosa highlighted to the attendees that, in order to be blessed, both the parents and their children must heed the instructions of the Almighty God written in the Holy Scriptures. If they do so, God promised that all would go well with them and they would receive salvation on Judgment Day.

Mark Tito, who was among the guests invited by the Las Nieves Congregation, stated, “I am grateful for being here. I deeply appreciate the teachings of the Church, being rooted in the Bible, and these offer many valuable and timely lessons that both parents and youths should heed.”

“I learned a lot. The words of God are truly important, as these serve as our guiding light not only towards a better life, but most especially towards receiving salvation on Judgment Day,” enthused Graciano Perez, a guest invited by the Libertad Congregation.

“We thank God for the success of today’s evangelical mission. Truly, the efforts of the brethren were not in vain,” expressed Brother Allan Avila, district Light Of Salvation (LOS) overseer. Prior to the event, brethren went door-to-door at their respective neighborhoods, distributing copies of Pasguo: God’s Message magazine and giving out invitations. — With reports from Cheivy Soliman of INC News Section
