Christian Family Organizations (CFO) members in the Ecclesiastical District of Bataan, in the Philippines, spent quality time with one another during the CFO Day at the Orani Multipurpose Gym on February 14, 2026.
The event aimed to promote unity and love of brotherhood. Families of brethren in the district bonded through interactive booths set up by the district CFO officers, which feature various countries that the Church has reached.
“This CFO Day highlights the Church’s beginnings at various places and its growth, which brought joy to the brethren having known about Church history,” expressed district supervising minister Brother Roderick Chulvo. “We thank God for using the Church Administration as instrument in launching activities that brethren eagerly anticipate.”
Parents and children were treated to a “visual and sensory tour” of countries, showcasing its national dress, delicacies, exhibits, among others, and especially the history and growth of the Church therein.
Husband and wife Lizander and April Alvaro from the Local Congregation of Capitan Siso, together with their son, expressed delight with the booths. They said that the “CFO officers showed great creativity in designing the booths.” April added, “The activity … gave the youth valuable knowledge about how the Church began and grew in the countries presented.”
As for the preparation of the event, district Buklod president Junnel Romulado observed, “The CFO officers’ enthusiasm in contributing many ideas for this activity was evident. They even devoted time to guide their brethren toward actively participating in the Church’s activities.”
Seeing the event’s success, district CFO overseer Brother Jerson Galvez said, “Fulfilling our duties strengthened our faith and that of the brethren, deepened our love for one another, and increased our zeal in serving God.” — With assistance from Danilo Benedicto Jr. and Annabele Penuliar
