“We are ever thankful to the Lord God and to our Lord Jesus Christ for their constant love for us. We’ve been able to uphold our services to God for more than half a decade now because of God’s guidance through the Church Administration,” said Brother Ariel B. Barzaga, the supervising minister of the Ecclesiastical District of Caloocan North, Philippines, as brethren there marked the sixth anniversary of the district on March 20, 2026.
The occasion was celebrated via a Family Fun Day and medical mission both held that day at a sports complex in Phase 2, Barangay 176, Caloocan City.
Facilitated by the Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers, mounted interactive booths—karaoke challenge, puzzle games, food stands, among others—gained everyone’s attention. Souvenirs and tokens were given out to participants.
During the medical mission, the district Christian Medical Dental and Paramedical Society (CMDPS) officers provided to brethren and nonmembers alike medicines and health supplements as well as medical services, such as checkups and consultations—all for free. More than 2,000 people received medical care.
“I received vitamins, and especially, professional advice for my health,” shared deaconess Modesta Creencia from Bagong Silang 9 Congregation. “I’m so thankful for this event being helpful as I continue serving God despite my old age.”
Aside from these back-to-back endeavors, simultaneous evangelical missions and a districtwide special gathering of Church officers are to be held in connection with the district’s anniversary. — With assistance from Rhoedman Lloyd Ybañez and Joed Berganio
