Friendly competition and love of brotherhood have been evident among players and spectators who gathered for the INC Unity Games of the Ecclesiastical District of Taiwan on October 10, 2025.

Aimed at fostering unity, sportsmanship, and brotherhood through competitive games, the multi-sports event was organized at various venues in Taoyuan City: Dongdong Bowling Alley, and Taoyuan Civil Sports Center for badminton and table tennis.

Other games, such as basketball, volleyball, board games, track and field, darts, speed cubing, and speed stacking, were held in a senior high school gym. There also, opening and closing ceremonies took place, which assistant supervising minister Brother Ranilo Borrero and district supervising minister Brother Roel Castillo led, respectively.

“Through the grace of our Lord God, our district held the Unity Games that the Christian Family Organizations officers well prepared,” said Brother Castillo. “Attendees were filled with joy and renewed faith, firmly believing it is good before God’s sight to be united in various Church activities.”

After taking oath of sportsmanship led by district Buklod officer Henry Galvez, players and enthusiasts proceeded to respective venues. Cheers flared up the excitement; winners were declared after all the friendly competitions.

“This is a significant achievement for us and for our local congregation. We thank God for this,” Jayson Mendoza from the Taipei City Congregation said on behalf of his teammates upon winning the basketball championship.

The winners of the said games received trophies and medals. Based on the points earned from all the sporting events, Zhongli was declared the top local congregation for the highest overall score.

I’m joyful with inspiring activities organized by the Administration, as they significantly strengthen my faith,” expressed basketball player Melvin Catbagan from Zaoqiao Congregation. — With assistance from Karen Analee Co Abalos
