Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members in the Ecclesiastical District of Taiwan South happily participated in their district-wide INC Unity Games held at Dou-Nan Senior High School grounds on October 10, 2025. The said activity fostered better ties among the participants and spectators alike.
The sporting activity kicked-off with the parade of players from all local congregations, followed by the opening prayer led by district safety overseer Brother Eduard Angelo San Pedro. Then, Taiwan South District assistant supervising minister Brother Sixto Gansit Jr. gave the opening remarks. “These games not only show our competitive side but also foster unity and brotherhood among us,” he highlighted.
Led by district Christian Family Organizations overseer Brother Dante Dela Cruz, all players took an oath of sportsmanship prior to their friendly competition in games, which were basketball, volleyball, track and field, chess, and darts.
Volleyball player Larein Ann Turerit of Doulio, Yunlin Congregation enthused, “I’m filled with joy! Indeed, we were brought closer by this activity.”
The Local Congregation of Yongkang was declared overall champion having aced in most of the sports competition. The district leadership, led by district supervising minister Brother Mayonel Taal, handed trophies to the winners.
“Thank you so much, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, our dear Executive Minister, for activities like this strengthen our spiritual lives above all,” said Brother Taal on behalf of the district. — With reports from Maricar Javier
