Is there another god aside from the Father in heaven?

GOD WAS NOT ALONE prior to the creation of man. Although He was with other beings at that instance (Gen. 1:26), however, the Bible does not teach that God was speaking to another god.

The ones present at that time were the angels He created:

“And the LORD God said, ‘The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever’.  So the LORD God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken. After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.” (Gen. 3:22-24 New International Version)

The Bible teaches that there is only one God—the Almighty Father—Who declared:

“Now see that I, even I, am He, And there is no God besides Me.” (Deut. 32:39 New King James Version)

The Holy Scriptures further state:

“Have we not all one Father? Has not one God created us?” (Mal. 2:10 NKJV)

The Almighty God is the sole Creator of man. The Bible says:

“So God created human beings, making them to be like himself. He created them male and female.” (Gen. 1:27 Good News Bible)

“I have made the earth, And created man on it. It was I—My hands that stretched out the heavens. And all their host I have commanded.” (Isa. 45:12 NKJV)
