KADIWA officers and members from the Ecclesiastical District of Cebu City, Cebu, in the Philippines, spearheaded INC Giving activities on August 16, 2025.
“We hope to contribute to environmental protection in our little way especially since our place is a flood-prone area,” district KADIWA president Cheryl Moana Marie Enriquez said.
Lamac Congregation choir member Kenneth Clerk Rebato felt “immense joy being able to show concern to the environment. This all the more inspires me to be active in the faith, knowing that this pleases God and benefits our community at the same time.”
KADIWA members in the district handed out commemorative mugs as well as certificates of recognition to public workers—security personnel, police officers, and deliverymen—whom they met along City di Mare, South Road. “Theirs is a work that need much effort. We wanted to extend the Church Administration’s commendation to such people of our community,” narrated Enriquez.
“Appreciating those who do good in our community not only shows our patriotism but our adherence to God’s commands to love others just as we love ourselves,” expressed Labangon Congregation choir member Ron Earl Alinsunod who also participated in the activities. He further stated, “I promise to keep united with the activities being launched by the Church Administration that help promote kindness.”
