Kindness of brethren in Hong Kong evident via blood donation

Amid hectic job schedules, members of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) in the Ecclesiastical District of Hong Kong always find time engaging in Church activities, the recent of which was the blood donation held on February 11, 2024.
“Through the guidance of the Church Administration, we were able to organize this simultaneous blood donation event in the district. The brethren who participated are convinced not only with the health benefits of donating blood regularly but also of obeying God’s commandment that whenever possible, they must be of help to the needy,” said Brother Arnel Trinidad, assistant district supervising minister.
Led by Brother Jonathan Jove, the district Christian Family Organizations overseer, and the Church officers, eager brethren went to blood banks closest to them in Hong Kong. The brethren donned their INC Giving shirts as they did such volunteerism.
Affirming the motivation of the activity, Brother Bobby Medrano, the district chronicler, said, “It is always good to be the ones to help the society in projects like these. The willingness of the brethren to dedicate time, effort and even their life, to help those in need shows their concern for their fellowmen.” — With reports from Cherry Mutya of INC News Section
