MEMBERS OF THE Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) deeply cherish the pastoral visitations of the Executive Minister, especially when held in their own local congregation. These gatherings are sacred opportunities to hear the Bible-based preaching of Brother Eduardo V. Manalo and to receive abundant spiritual blessings for their congregation and ecclesiastical district.

But the pastoral visit on May 31, 2025 to the Local Congregation of Navotas, Ecclesiastical District of CAMANAVA, Philippines, was even more momentous. Brethren gathered with hearts full of joyful anticipation—not only in Navotas but in thousands of houses and places of worship around the world, all tuned in to witness this sacred occasion, as it was livestreamed to over 2,000 remote sites across continents, with additional web-streaming to reach other time zones.

What made this event historic was the solemn and blessed moment during the gathering: Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo took his oath as the Deputy Executive Minister of the Church.

Brother Bedanio L. Ubaldo, district supervising minister of CAMANAVA, led the opening prayer of the worship service. Afterwards, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo warmly greeted those gathered at the house of worship in Navotas, as well as all the brethren joining from around the world.

Through the Holy Scriptures, the Executive Minister reminded the congregation that although we live in extraordinary times marked by instability and moral decline, God’s expectations remain clear: His people must stay steadfast in faith, lead upright lives, and never lose their spiritual focus. He emphasized that now more than ever, members of the Church must strive to do their best in obeying God’s commands.

The Executive Minister also emphasized from the Bible the vital role of personal prayers in the life of every Church Of Christ member. He reminded the brethren to never neglect their devotional prayers to God—and to make their prayers more intensive.

He encouraged the faithful to regularly conduct what he called self-diagnostics—a sincere and humble examination of one’s own thoughts, priorities, and actions—to ensure that their lives are truly aligned with God’s will. Such reflection, he taught, is necessary for anyone who wishes to remain pleasing before the Lord.

Following the inspiring biblical message, the solemn and historic moment that the brethren had long anticipated took place. Brother Angelo Eraño Manalo stood before the congregation and took his oath as the Deputy Executive Minister of the Iglesia Ni Cristo.

Brother Arnel A. Tumanan led the prayer of the congregation after the oath taking of the Deputy Executive Minister. The prayer for the voluntary offerings was led by Brother Glicerio P. Santos IV, and Brother Angelo Manalo said the benediction.
