Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members in the Ecclesiastical District of Leyte East, Philippines, shared the true faith via evangelical missions on May 19 and 24, 2024. The former, which was a musical evangelical mission, was held at the Tacloban City Convention Center, while the latter at respective houses of worship of all local congregations in the district.

At the convention center, the Church members were led by Brother Raul V. Ramirez Sr., the district supervising minister, as they convened with their guests. Choral groups from the district’s various local congregations presented songs featuring INC Original Music which not only entertained but also highlighted the biblical doctrines the Church upholds.

Present during the occasion, Angel Sayong, guest, expressed that she “didn’t expect the Church Of Christ to be this joyful. There are so many members and much talent to witness.”

Meanwhile, the district-wide evangelical mission attracted around 2,000 guests. Officiating ministers and ministerial workers in each venue highlighted the biblical teaching on the importance of being called into the Church Of Christ for one’s services to be worthy before God for him to be certain of receiving salvation.

Sofio Cajandoc, a guest who attended at the Local Congregation of Burauen’s house of worship, shared, “I’ve been observing the Church Of Christ lately, and I am impressed how the ministers proved the doctrines that the Church upholds are solely based on what are written in the Bible.”

Through these events, brethren in the district were able to commemorate its 42nd anniversary. “But, more importantly, they have been made aware of God’s immense help to the district. Through the years, it has achieved numerous victories in the works of God, particularly in propagating His words,” said Brother Ramirez.

The events’ success serves as “a testament of the unity and unwavering faith of the brethren in the district,” the supervising minister attested. — With reports from Enrique Adolfo Libunao of INC News Section
