The Church Of Christ, through the Ecclesiastical District of Leyte East, formally admitted new members who had passed all requirements for membership during their baptism on July 14, 2023.

They were the fruits of the concerted efforts of brethren from various congregations in the district in propagating the pure gospel during the preceding months.

Brother Raul Ramirez Sr., district supervising minister, officiated at the baptismal service conducted at the house of worship of the Palo Congregation. He delivered a Bible-based lesson inspiring the would-be members to value through faithful obedience this special moment in their lives when they received the right to the true service of God and the hope for the salvation He promised.

“The true spiritual enlightenment is found inside the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ),”averred Ken Relagio, a newly baptized member from the Can-abay Local Congregation. “It feels great that I have accepted the pristine gospel taught inside the Church Of Christ. I have never experienced being hopeful and inspired like this in my former religion which is why I am thankful to God for being baptized inside the true Church.”

The Leyte East brethren as well benefited from the holy occasion as it served as an opportunity to reaffirm their resolve in taking part in the Church’s propagation endeavors. Merlyn Cagara, a deaconess from the Bislig Congregation thus shared, “(We) will always bear fruit no matter what happens. (We) will always see to it that (we) keep up with the Church’s aim to share the faith with other people.” —With reports from Queenie Urena of INC News Section
