With the aim of helping their fellowmen, the Ecclesiastical District of Manitoba conducted a Care For Humanity event held at Turtle Island Community Centre, 510 King Street, Winnipeg, Canada, on October 19, 2025.
With the help of Christian Family Organizations (CFO) officers, brethren prepared 250 care packages, which include non-perishable goods.
In his opening remarks, district supervising minister Brother Roland Andrade expressed his gratitude to those in attendance. Then he explained that “The Care For Humanity and other Church’s outreach programs which the Felix Y. Manalo Foundation conducted is part of the continuing mission to extend a helping hand to people.” He continued saying that the event was “a living expression of our faith to reflect God’s love that brings hope, uplifts life, and reminds everyone that you are not alone, so do not lose hope.”
Then, selected KADIWA members delivered musical performances featuring INC original music which entertained and brought enjoyment to the event.
“From the moment I walked into the event, I saw the joy, the kindness, the warm welcome of the people, and I actually felt the love of humanity,” shared guest Pedro Aoidhoghae. “This [event] made a huge impact on the lives of many of us here,” he added.
On behalf of the brethren in Manitoba, Brother Andrade stated in an interview that in these difficult times, the Church Of Christ members in Manitoba are always ready “to extend our help to fulfill God’s commands to love our fellowmen, especially those in need. [Through this], we can show [them] the care and love of God.” — With assistance from Kyle Solano
