A decade has passed since the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) established the  Ecclesiastical District of Manitoba, in Canada. Thanking God for all His lovingkindness through the years, brethren in the district commemorated the milestone anniversary through a special worship service on December 6, 2025, a Christian Family Organizations (CFO) Formal, and a photo exhibit the day after.

Sent by the Church Administration, minister of the gospel and Pasugo: God’s Message magazine’s Editor-in-Chief Brother Dennis C. Lovendino officiated at the said worship service held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Winnipeg South—the Church’s pioneering congregation in Manitoba. The sacred event was livestreamed to seven sites across the district, which were the houses of worship of the Local Congregations of Brandon, Neepawa, Rathwell, Steinbach, Weston, Winkler, and Winnipeg East.

After a prayer led by district edification overseer Brother Ramil Macaspac II, Brother Lovendino first read the message from the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo. In his letter, he commended the district for having reached its milestone anniversary. He also expressed his hope that the brethren will take such milestone as an inspiration to continue serving God come what may in their lives.

In his homily afterwards, Brother Lovendino highlighted the importance of looking forward to the joys in heaven or God’s eternal blessings, which are salvation on Judgment Day and eternal life in the Holy City. Thus, the brethren must place their complete trust and hope in God no matter what. They must not give up their God-given calling. After all, He has proven time and again that they are His chosen people in these last days. Brother Lovendino then led the brethren in a prayer after his sermon. The giving of offerings followed, then the offertory prayer, after which the district supervising minister Brother Roland Andrade said the benediction.

“I will apply what I’ve learned as I continue my journey in this world. I will remain active in performing my duties to the Almighty God and do what pleases Him, so that I may attain salvation on Judgment Day,” said choir member Malakai Labrinto from Winnipeg South Congregation.

The day after, on December 7, a CFO Formal event was held at the function room of The Fort Garry Hotel, Spa and Conference Centre in 222 Broadway, Winnipeg, Canada. There also, a photo exhibit was mounted, featuring the district’s growth through the years. The exhibit’s ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by Brother Andrade and Brother Lovendino.

Upon leading the tour of the exhibit, Brother Andrade gave the opening remarks commencing the CFO Formal. Then, select talented brethren treated all in attendance with their performances featuring INC original music. They likewise enjoyed the dinner prepared for them; photo booths captured their smiles and joyous mood.

“I offer so much gratitude to God, and to the Church Administration for remembering our district on its anniversary,” expressed group overseer Florante Pineda of Portage la Prairie Group Worship Service (GWS).

Overall, these one after another activities have “strengthened us, have provided guidance, hope, and inspiration as we continue our journey towards salvation. All praises be unto God,” head deacon Devy Rodriguez from Brandon Congregation attested on behalf of his brethren.

It was on December 10, 2015 when Manitoba District (formerly Central Canada District) was established as its own ecclesiastical district from Western Canada (now the British Columbia, Canada District). The district currently comprises 11 local congregations and two GWS. — With assistance from Edward Lemuel Castro
