The Ecclesiastical District of San Carlos, Negros Occidental conducted a Buklod Forum at the multipurpose hall of Park Marina, Barangay III, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, Philippines on May 10, 2025. Both its district officers and those of the local congregations attended the forum.
District supervising minister Brother Raul Gonzales oversaw the activity and delivered the opening remarks. District Buklod officer Remilyn Blanco served as the keynote speaker. She discussed about health and wellness that married members ought to consider, such as fitness routine or exercises that are appropriate for them.
An insightful discussion followed, which officers in local congregations actively participated in, especially as Blanco emphasized to them how crucial good health is, even to marital and parent-child relationship.
Afterwards, the district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer, Brother Chad Arellano, outlined upcoming Buklod activities. “We aim to explore these effective strategies that will not only strengthen but also contribute to the officers as they lead the brethren, all aimed at bringing glory to God,” he said.
“I’m delighted upon attending this forum,” expressed Buklod officer Brian Alicio from the Guihulngan Local Congregation. Having brethren entrusted to his care, he added, “I will share with my fellow married brethren these valuable insights I’ve gained.” — With reports from Ariston N. Bayog of INC News Section
