In addition to the hundreds of converts to the Church through the propagation efforts of all local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Manila during the first 10 months of this year, a total of 96 more received baptism this month, not to mention those being prepared for December.
Assistant district supervising minister Brother Nestor M. Serrano officiated at the said would-be members’ baptismal gathering held on November 22, 2025 at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Binondo.
Before their immersion into water as the Bible prescribes, they received further instruction in doctrine. Emphasizing the immense blessing of becoming a member of the true religion, the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), Brother Serrano reminded them that, to be blessed especially with salvation, they ought to obey all of God’s teachings taught to them. He added that as true Christians they should remain dedicated to serving and worshiping the true God Who called them inside the true Church.
District Light of Salvation overseer Brother Joselito Salas then administered the oath-taking of the would-be members before the actual baptism.
In an interview later, Brother Salas said, “We thank the Lord God for giving success to the efforts of the brethren in the work of spreading the faith. Whenever members of the Church are able to invite people to become members too, the Lord God is truly pleased, because it is His will that all receive salvation by joining the true Church.
“I’m finally a member of the true Church,” said Enrico Gutierrez from the Local Congregation of Baseco. “I firmly believe that God is the One Who called me and helped me become a member of His Church. I promise to become even more active in serving Him.” — With assistance from Bernard Martinez
