“I’m truly blessed for having been baptized in the Church Of Christ,” expressed Susan Pineda from the Local Congregation of Hong Kong West, “I’m overjoyed and I promise to dedicate myself in being an active Church member.” She was among those who received baptism at the place of worship of the Local Congregation of Hong Kong West, Ecclesiastical District of Hong Kong, on February 25, 2024.

Brother Noer Misa, district supervising minister, officiated at the baptismal gathering. He preached a biblical lesson about the importance of striving to become Church Of Christ members and the blessings that come with it, such as that God will listen to the prayers of His faithful servants and, most of all, they are sure of receiving salvation on Judgment Day.

“We wholeheartedly thank our Lord God because despite the tests the prospective members faced, they were able to reach their baptism,” Brother Ruperto Agustin Jr., district Light of Salvation overseer, enthused.

With the newly baptized in attendance were the brethren who were instrumental in the former’s introduction about and conversion into the Church Of Christ.

“I fully understood that leading Susan to Bible studies, after she decided and enlisted herself as a doctrinal instructee, is just a part of my Church duty to help propagate God’s words,” said Tina Lomat. “That is why I, together with my husband Jay, made sure that she was further guided throughout the process of her joining the Church, so that her faith in our Almighty God will be firm and remain so until the end.”

“We will always share our faith with our friends and fellowmen so that more people will be informed time and again about God’s will upheld in the Iglesia Ni Cristo,” said Jay Lomat, head deacon. — With reports from Mhel Monsalud of INC News Section
