From late February to early March 2024, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members in the Ecclesiastical District of Naga City, Camarines Sur, Philippines, continued to enthusiastically share the true faith. They invited their loved ones, friends, acquaintances, and fellow Bicolanos to district-wide evangelical missions which were held at various houses of worship in the district.

Brother Misael Dungca Jr., district supervising minister, led fellow ministers constituting the district leadership, in conducting the evangelical missions in 11 areas including those in Naga City, Calabanga, Libmanan, Minalabac, Pasacao, Pili, Railroad, Sipocot, Siruma, and Tinambac. Meanwhile, resident ministers, and ministerial workers spearheaded the preparations, such as inviting and ushering guests.

The first of these evangelistic activities happened on February 23, serving as host sites the houses of worship of the local congregations of Anib, Antipolo, Balongay, Bulawan, Calibayan, Del Rosario-Pili, Liñaga, Panicuason, Sagrada-Minalabac, Salingogon, and San Pablo, whose respective neighboring local congregations united with their bringing along guests.

With the importance of having true faith in God and His words taught on the first day, the succeeding evangelical missions in the same said areas aimed at introducing as well the other biblical teachings, such as about the true Church, God’s Messenger in these last days, Christ’s being human, among others. These were conducted on February 26, 27, March 1, 4, 5, and 8 at other houses of worship. Overall, more than two thousand guests attended.

“From the Bible, I learned that people must join the Church Of Christ for them to receive salvation on Judgment Day,” Reynaldo Padrones, a guest from Panicuason who eventually became a doctrinal instructee, said in an interview.

“Everyone was attentively listening to the teachings of God. No one chats with another. All were focused on understanding the biblical message,” said Princes Maravilla, one among other guests who expressed their desire to continue listening to God’s teachings upheld inside the Church Of Christ. — With reports from Rod Mortega Jr. of INC News Section
