The Local Congregation of New Era, Ecclesiastical District of Pampanga North, held a medical and dental mission on November 8, 2025, at the New Era University-Pampanga Branch covered court as part of its 40th anniversary celebration.
Doctors Danilo Valle Cruz and Rigel Ricon, and dentists Renzy Rose Diespe and Fe Palmea volunteered their services. With them were Dr. Madelaine Palmea of San Agustin-SF Congregation and dentist Grace Manabat of F. Manalo Congregation, along with other medical practitioners.
A total of 330 benefitted from the event. Of these, 120 received direct health services; others were provided with free eyeglasses, vitamins, and medicines including paracetamol and antibiotics.
The services offered were free medical consultations, blood sugar tests, dental consultations, tooth extractions for adults, and fluoride treatments for children.
Medical protocols were strictly implemented, Dr. Fe Palmea attested, such as making sure that “patients do not have abnormally high blood pressure, among other ailments to consider, before performing tooth extractions to ensure everyone’s safety.”
After his checkup, beneficiary Franck Mendiola said, “The outreach activity makes medical care possible for people who struggle to avail it. Thank you so much for this big help.”
District supervising minister Brother Arnel Agorilla was present in the event. — With assistance from Myn Tinio
