With major renovations done, the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Gold Coast, Ecclesiastical District of Queensland, Australia was rededicated to God during a special worship service on October 18, 2025. The Church Administration sent minister of the gospel Brother Edwil D. Zabala to officiate the historic event.
Before his Bible-based lecture, Brother Zabala read the greetings of the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo. Then, he proceeded to teach from the Bible the importance of the house of worship for God’s true servants. He emphasized that for true Christians, the house of worship is a special and sacred venue because it is here where they worship and pray to the true God. It is also here where they are able to conduct devotional prayers during dire needs. He called on them to uphold holiness as expected by God.
“This worship building is another testament of the Lord God’s constant help for the Church,” district supervising minister Brother Orlando V. Macayan said in an interview. “This place is dear for the brethren. It is here where they find solace amid odds in life. Most importantly, during worship services, they receive instruction and edification in this holy place.”
Gold Coast resident minister Brother Glenn David said, “We thank the Lord God for giving our congregation a majestic house of worship. This inspired the brethren to all the more dutifully serve our God. We promise Him to love and maintain this place. We also renew our promise to always obey Him no matter what.”
Located along 4-8 Sunshine Boulevard, Broadbeach Waters, Queensland, the 150-seater worship building was renovated inside out. Its audio-video and livestreaming equipment were also upgraded. — With assistance from Mark Reniel Kiseo
