On March 8, 2024, Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the Local Congregation of Liloy, Ecclesiastical District of Zamboanga del Norte, Philippines, attended the dedication worship service of their fully renovated house of worship. Formerly a 60-seater, the renovated house of worship can now accommodate 160 worshipers at a given time.

Brethren from neighboring local congregations also took delight in praising God for His given blessings as they were also present during the dedication worship service officiated by Brother Rogelio Laplana Jr., the district supervising minister.

“I’m joyful over the renovation and dedication of our local congregation’s house of worship,” Albert Enot, an active Buklod member, expressed. “The house of worship is of great importance to me because it is where I pray to and worship the Lord God. I will never neglect but will do my part in safeguarding it.”

“Even passers-by are awed when they look at our house of worship,” observed Jay Patrick Sumalinog, a choir member. “I’m thankful to our Lord God and to the Church Administration as His instrument for finally answering our congregation’s long-held aspiration, that is, to have a new and beautiful house of worship.”

The house of worship is situated in the village of Fatima, Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte. Other facilities that were also built from the ground up within the house of worship compound included office spaces for the congregation’s various departments, technical support for videostreaming (TSV) room, and a generator house. — With reports from Jerome Aristoteles of INC News Section
