“Hold fast to God’s words being our guide in everything we do. Obedience to it is the key to success.” Thus Caloocan North Ecclesiastical District assistant supervising minister Brother Erman T. Bendicio highlighted during the special gathering held at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Camarin on November 7, 2025.
Attended by Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) youth members, who are either high school or college students, the said gathering was held also in commemoration of the 52nd anniversary of the Church’s KADIWA and Binhi organizations and the 53rd anniversary of the Christian Brotherhood International (CBI).
During his Bible-based preaching, Brother Bendicio emphasized such ardent call of the Church Administration, especially to the youth, as they must be careful on who and what influences their decisions in life. It should be none other than God and His will, so that He may have mercy to bless them with the good things they aspire for in life.
Brother Bendicio also reminded the attendees that they should always respect and obey their parents in the Lord, for those who obey this command is guaranteed a long and prosperous life. Towards the conclusion, the officiating minister exhorted all those in attendance to trust in God all the days of their lives by always conducting devotional prayers concerning their aspirations in life.
“As a high school student, majority of my classmates are nonmembers. They could influence me in doing things that might go against God’s will. In those instances, I will strive to always live by what the Bible teaches as good and right. I truly believe that God holds the bright future I aspire for and He will give that to me if I obey Him truly,” said Junmer Bacayo from the Local Congregation of Maligaya.
“The youth members are always exposed to the evil deeds that are evident wherever they are, in their respective schools and most especially in social media. Be that as it may, true Christians should not let themselves be influenced into sinning. Their constant standard of what is good must be God’s words written in the Bible as taught by the Church Administration,” said district Christian Family Organizations overseer Brother Rhoedman Lloyd Ybañez in an interview after the gathering. — With assistance from Alyssa Matarlo and Joed Berganio
