As part of guiding them through the process of joining the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ), 418 prospective members and 516 doctrinal instructees in the Ecclesiastical District of CAMANAVA, the district leadership gathered them on November 7, 2025 for further biblical instruction and spiritual edification.
CAMANAVA stands for Caloocan (South), Malabon, Navotas, and Valenzuela, adjoining cities in the northern part of Metro Manila, Philippines.
Assistant district supervising minister Brother Arnel Trinidad officiated at the special gathering that was held at the Valenzuela Local Congregation’s house of worship.
Brother Trinidad’s homily focused, among others, on inspiring the would-be members to devoting themselves to worshiping the true God, the Father in heaven. He emphasized that as true followers of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, they should bear fruits of righteousness by obeying His teachings written in the Bible— one of which is regularly attending worship services—and thus become worthy of His promised blessings.
“Attending this kind of gathering makes me feel like I’m already a member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo. Incredibly welcoming,” expressed prospective member Kim Chan from the Local Congregation of Malinta.
Brethren who were instrumental in the aspiring members’ conversion into the Church likewise attended the special gathering.
“I invite people into the Church to obey God’s commandment, that more people may be saved when they’ve become able to truly serve God,” explained head deacon Glen Obina from Malinta Congregation. “I’m grateful to God for using me as His instrument in bringing people closer to Him. May they make it through until they reach their baptism.” — With assistance from Raul Batayola Jr. and Rosanna Ramos
