The Ecclesiastical District of Iloilo South conducted evangelical missions simultaneously in 27 venues on January 18, 2026. A total of 1,062 guests attended and, thus, benefited from the pure gospel that was proclaimed.
District supervising minister Brother Mario L. Mabuti officiated at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Iloilo City wherein brethren from the local congregations of Jaro, La Paz, Mansaya, San Isidro, and San Juan attended along with their guests.
Those from other local congregations attended at the houses of worship in Guimbal, Janiuay, Leganes, Mandurriao, Miag-ao, Oton Poblacio, Pavia, Quipot, San Carlos, among others. The officiating ministers emphasized the biblical teaching that to attain eternal life on Judgment Day, one must enter the Lord Jesus Christ’s fold—the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ).
“The teachings inside the Church Of Christ come from the Bible,” observed a 73-year-old guest by the name of Salvador Chiu, Jr. “The lessons are orderly and truthful. I’m willing to listen to any evangelical missions to know more about the truth.”
Being instrumental in guiding others to the true faith, 78-year-old deacon Rolando Daalupang from the Jaro Congregation expressed, “My only aim in inviting others is to bring them back to serving the true God. For, I was like them before. I came from a religion that worship graven images, but I was awakened by the truth, the biblical doctrines taught in the Church Of Christ.” — With assistance from District Multimedia
