In the Ecclesiastical District of the Caribbean, a local congregation and a group worship service (GWS) that were both previously part of the Miami, Florida Congregation together observed their milestone anniversaries on November 30, 2025.

The Local Congregation of West Palm Beach, Florida and the Port St. Lucie, GWS jointly commemorated their 15th and 5th anniversaries, respectively, through a fitting program. With interactive activities everyone enjoyed, the program provided the brethren an opportunity to socialize with one another, fostering stronger the bond of Christian brotherhood.

Pioneer members of the West Palm Beach Congregation were recognized alongside their families. Over dinner, the congregation’s history was presented through video. Select brethren performed musical numbers featuring INC original music. As a finale, the Christian song “I Am Happy” was sung by all who performed.

District supervising minister Brother Garry Garcia gave an uplifting closing remarks, followed by a solemn prayer of thanks and praise led by Brother Emmanuel Bondoc, minister of the gospel.

“Today we celebrate more than a day; we celebrate a blessing from our Almighty God. It [celebration] truly reflects God’s faithfulness to the Church Of Christ, as the brethren are here in unity to celebrate the Church’s growth and the love of brotherhood,” Brother Garcia said in an interview afterwards. He added, “We are deeply thankful to our Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, and Deputy Executive Minister, Brother Angelo Eraño V. Manalo, for their guidance and faithfulness in strengthening the Church.”

Starting as an extension of the Miami, Florida Congregation in 1998, West Palm Beach became a full-fledged congregation on December 6, 2010.

Also previously part of the Miami, Florida Congregation, the group of brethren from Port St. Lucie was annexed as an area of the West Palm Beach when it became a local congregation. Finding a suitable place for worship at the Port St. Lucie Community Center in July 2020, their area became the Port St. Lucie GWS.

“I thank God for answering our prayers to have a worship venue closer to our homes,” expressed Nicanor Orjaliza Jr., a deacon in Port St. Lucie. “Previously, our family traveled an hour and a half to Cocoa Beach for worship services. With the approved Port St. Lucie GWS, it’s only a 45-minute trip. It’s truly a blessing to us, and to be here celebrating with the brethren.” — With reports from Renee Suarez
