Representing more than 40 local congregations, around 700 Children’s Worship Service (CWS) teachers and chairpersons in the Ecclesiastical District of Pampanga West, in the Philippines, convened at the house of worship of the Local Congregation of Lubao on January 17, 2026.

Led by CWS Committee chairperson Ardee Joseph Pangilinan, a brainstorming session was held regarding the activities that they would be conducting during their upcoming monthly meetup with other fellow CWS officers.

The highlight of the activity was the lecture based on God’s words written in the Bible delivered by district Christian Family Organizations overseer Brother Triumpo Bautista Jr. He reminded the attendees that God will bless them their needs and aspirations in life as they devote themselves in their duties.

“It’s uplifting. I’ve been inspired to all the more continue fulfilling my duties such as showing genuine concern to the children entrusted to my care,” said CWS teacher Rendez Sulit from Sasmuan Congregation.

Awards, special mention

After the lecture, CWS member King Bryan Gavino was recognized and given a plaque of appreciation for being the overall champion in the district-wide Tagisan ng Talino (battle of wits). He even represented the district in the regional level of the said competition.

Afterwards, five CWS Dako (venue)—that of the Local Congregations of Lubao, Maquiapo, Santa Monica FB, Guagua, and Centro—received the “Sakdal Dako (excellent CWS venue)” award as the CWS officers there, with God’s help and to the best of their abilities, excelled in taking care of their younger brethren, primarily always leading them on every Sunday worship last year.

“This general meeting also served as an opportune time to call on all of us, officers, to further dedicate ourselves to fulfilling our CWS duties, that is, helping look after the children’s spiritual welfare, and keeping clean and sacred every CWS place of worship,” shared Brother Pangilinan.
