Camaraderie and unity proved evident among KADIWA members from the Pampanga West Ecclesiastical District, in the Philippines, as they gathered at Guagua National Colleges for their INC Unity Games: Badminton Edition on April 5, 2025.

The event brought together youth members ages 18 and up for a day of fun and sportsmanship. Players competed in either of the three categories: men’s singles, women’s singles, and men’s doubles. Promoting unity over competition, cheers erupted among spectators and competitors alike.

The winners were as follows:

Men’s Singles: Kenneth Sales (Guagua Congregation)

Women’s Singles: Daizel Jade Guinto (San Miguel-Lubao Congregation)

Men’s Doubles: Mark John Timbang and Jheo Timbang (Laucpao Congregation)

“I’ve always looked forward to the Unity Games ever since I started joining it. It brings excitement to me and my fellow brethren. It strengthens our bond,” Guinto shared. “From my childhood days until now, whether at the local or district level, the INC Unity Games have continuously ignited my passion to play. It also opened doors to new friendships within the Church,” she added.

“As one of the players, my heart is truly filled with joy,” expressed Jaymee Marie Macaspac of San Roque Congregation. “The event fostered unity among us players. The spirit of sportsmanship truly manifest.” — With reports from Joy Ferrer
