Pagsamba Ng Kabataan (PNK) or Children’s Worship Service members from the Guagua and Palmayo clusters of the Pampanga West Ecclesiastical District, in the Philippines, benefited from an activity dubbed PNK Cares.
Guagua Cluster consists of the Local Congregations of Betis, Guagua, San Juan-Guagua, Sasmuan, and Sta. Ines while Palmayo Cluster consists of the Local Congregations of Anon, Apalit-Florida Blanca, Cabangcalan, Happy Valley, Palmayo, San Nicolas-F Blanca, and Santa Monica FB. The activity was held at the house of worship compounds of Guagua and Palmayo Congregations on June 7 and 14, 2025, respectively.
Fostering unity, joy, and camaraderie, the PNK officers first treated the youth with a lively program featuring performances of Iglesia Ni Cristo original music, which showcased the talents of the young members.
“I’m grateful to the Lord God and to our Executive Minister Brother Eduardo V. Manalo for the activity especially for us, youth members,” expressed PNK member Elijah Jaire Salangsang from the Betis Local Congregation.
The event also engaged the youth to participate in fun games, such as Group Yourself, Trip to Jerusalem, Bring Me, and Calamansi Relay. The highlight of the activity followed, which is the PNK officers’ giving of school supplies to children, ensuring they start the academic year equipped and inspired.
“It was such a joyful event, especially for my child. I saw how much he enjoyed the whole program, from the games to the performances,” Aireene, mother of Elijah, remarked. “I’m truly thankful because the activity was a big help as school begins, and the supplies will really support his learning.”
“Activities like this fills me with joy and inspiration. I’m uplifted upon seeing young members actively participating and learning to help others even in simple ways,” PNK teacher Pauline Mallari and one of the activity’s organizers explained. On behalf of fellow PNK officers, she added, “We promise to continue guiding and nurturing the PNK members entrusted to our care, all for the glory of God.” — With reports from Joy Ferrer of INC News Section
