Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members from the Port Moresby Local Congregation, in Papua New Guinea, helped out in sharing the true faith on April 11, 2025, by inviting people to listen to God’s words at Lahara Park, Boroko.
Brother Romeo Beltran, supervising minister of the Victoria, Australia Ecclesiastical District, which supervises congregations in Papua New Guinea, officiated. In the study of God’s words written in the Bible, he emphasized the Lord Jesus Christ’s declaration that He is the door through which people should enter to attain salvation. Brother Beltran explained that those who truly heeded the Savior did not only have faith in Christ but also become members of His one and only true Church, the Church Of Christ.
“God’s words call for action—faith must be lived, not just spoken,” said guest Susan Hendio who was among those who decided to continue listening to God’s words. “I’m grateful to the Church Of Christ for sharing the gospel in a clear and understandable way, reaching out to people as God intended. Christ is the only path to salvation, and I firmly believe in that.”
“The people here are very religious. They believe in God and that’s why the brethren, through the leadership of ministers and ministerial workers, share the true faith unceasingly,” remarked district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer Brother Andrew Fisher.
On behalf of the district, Brother Beltran added, “We share God’s words in every part of the city because that is the commandment of our Lord Jesus Christ, that is, to go everywhere, spread the Good News, and those who will believe and be baptized will be saved.” — With reports from Bunny Quiñola of INC News Section
