“It’s like traveling back in time, at the very instant when Brother Felix Y. Manalo was preaching God’s words,” said finance officer Joyce Perez after listening to the audio recording of the preaching of Brother Manalo inside a replica of the nipa hut where he preached in Punta, Sta. Ana, Manila. The hut was among the various features mounted inside the Iglesia Ni Cristo Museum located along Central Ave, Quezon City, Philippines.

Inspired by “The Sugarlandia of Central Luzon,” an exhibit that the INC Museum staff set up from February 4 to 7, 2026 at SM City Tarlac, the Local Congregation of San Jose thus engaged in yet another walk down memory lane.

This time, on February 28, 2026, the brethren from the said congregation conducted a Museum Tour, first at the museum of the INC located at Punta, Sta. Ana, Manila, then at the INC Museum along Central Avenue, Quezon City, with resident ministerial worker Brother Christian P. Miranda leading them.

“I was overwhelmed as it’s my first time here. I was so excited to know the Church’s history,” enthused finance officer Aileen Catacutan.

Young and old alike, the 140 brethren shuttled in 10 vans did not mind the almost three-hour travel from Brgy. San Jose, Tarlac City to Punta. The museum there used to be the house of worship of Punta Congregation, which is the Church’s first local congregation. As the congregation’s newer house of worship is located just a few blocks away, the Tarlaqueño brethren also visited it.

“The first time I was able to visit the Church’s museum was so long ago,” said deaconess and finance officer Flordeliza Carreon. “This new museum is truly different from what I’ve visited the first time.”

The first one Carreon was referring is the Church’s first museum situated in front of the Central Temple. Named “INC Museum and Gallery,” it was inaugurated on July 27, 1984, in concurrence with the Church’s 70th anniversary, the same day that the Central Temple was dedicated to God by then Executive Minister, Brother Eraño G. Manalo (1925-2009). Meanwhile, the second one that Carreon recently visited was the INC Museum inaugurated by the current Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo more than six years ago, on August 29, 2019. – With assistance from Bealyssa Bianca T. Basto
