“We waited for this day to come. I’m so thankful to the Lord God for hearing our prayers,” resident ministerial worker Brother Darrel Hendrix Dionisio said.

Formerly a group worship service (GWS) of the Cayambanan Congregation, San Pablo has been elevated to local congregation status, its inaugural worship service being held on February 18, 2026. Urdaneta City, Pangasinan District supervising minister Brother Dante N. Parco officiated at the holy gathering.

“The brethren here are so zealous in sharing their faith. This new congregation, that was approved by the Church Administration, is a proof of the constant growth of the brethren in their faith. The faithful here will all the more strive to do what pleases the Lord God,” Brother Parco said in an interview.

During his homily, Brother Parco reminded the brethren that they cannot avoid facing sorrows in life. But they are to take heart because this world is not their true home. The Lord Jesus Christ guarantees that their true home is in heaven. Brother Parco also exhorted the brethren to always trust God to provide them the strength to go on and be worthy of salvation.

“My zeal to further serve God has been renewed. The inspiration I received today will motivate me to always do what pleases Him,” affirmed Jeffrey Nazarro, the head deacon.

The congregation’s place worship is located at Zone 4, Pendicitis St. Brgy. San Pablo, Binalonan, Pangasinan, 13 kilometers from Cayambanan’s house of worship. — With assistance from Elykim Mamasig and April May Lopez
