The Ecclesiastical District of Saskatchewan, Canada, staged a musical evangelical mission at Brian King Centre, an events venue in Warman, on August 3, 2025, utilizing music to propagate the pristine gospel.
District supervising minister Brother Ramil Macaspac gave the opening remarks. “Music is a universal language. It can transcend linguistic and cultural barriers, which can help connect people,” he explained in an interview afterwards. “This is what we hope our visitors felt today as they watched and listened to original Christian music in our district’s musical evangelical mission.”
The event showcased several talented performers who sang a selection of original Church compositions, such as Let Our God Take Charge Throughout Our Lives, Come With Me, Enlightened, I Am Saved, and Ako’y Maghihintay Sa Iyong Pagliligtas (I will wait for Your deliverance).
“INC original music is inspired by teachings in the Bible; there’s always a spiritual message involved,” said choir member Ciara Rayos from the Regina Congregation and among the performers. “And, I think that is one way that I can encourage and invite people to learn more about the Church.”
“Everyone was watching the musical,” observed organist Shara Bernandino from the same congregation and also one of the event’s organizers. “They truly enjoyed it, really touched by the music.”
Audio-video presentations about brethren’s conversion to the Church and inspiring stories were also shown, aimed at further inspiring the guests to know more about the Church.
“The musical performances were really nice; all performers really did well,” remarked guest Nathan Hilderman. “The video presentations were also interesting and inspiring. I enjoyed hearing the stories shared.” — With reports from John Alvin Ching
