On four separate instances, local congregations in the Ecclesiastical District of Italy South conducted clean-up activities under the INC Giving project of the Church.

“I believe that even through this activity people will see how we, Church Of Christ members, are united in doing good for our community,” said Rebecca Cariño, a local secretary and auditor from the Catania Group Worship Service (GWS).

On March 3, 2024, brethren in the Local Congregation of Firenze, Catania GWS, and Messina Extension combined their efforts in maintaining the cleanliness of the neighborhood near their respective places of worship. The same was done by the brethren in the local congregations of Roma Centro and Roma Nord on February 25.

The day before, Brother Dyland Ramos, district supervising minister, himself led the clean-up drive of the local congregations of Rome, Roma Ovest, Grosseto. Church members united in cleaning streets in Italy’s capital city, particularly Via Ennio Bonifazi, Via Monte di Primavalle, Via Mattia Battistini, and Battistini Metro Station.

Meanwhile, brethren in Cagliari GWS performed a coastal cleanup on February 18. Led by their resident ministerial worker, Brother Meldan Guevarra, Church members gathered at the Poetto Beach to pick up debris and litter.

According to Brother Ramos, more INC Giving activities will be held in the district as to fulfill its primary purpose: to help those in need whenever possible. — With assistance from Alvin Miclat and Jeric Vizco
