On June 24, 2025, two simultaneous special gatherings were held in the Ecclesiastical District of Don Carlos, Bukidnon in the Philippines, aimed to inspire Church officers as they continue fulfilling their God-given functions.
The said gatherings were held at the houses of worship of the Local Congregations of Maramag and Kalilangan, officiated at by district supervising minister Brother Romel Silva, and assistant district supervising minister Brother Frederick Falame, respectively. They taught from the Bible the must-have qualities of Church officers to achieve God’s desire to present His people worthy of salvation whenever Judgment Day comes.
“I was excited to attend this special gathering knowing that this would fortify my faith and bring me more inspiration to be diligent in performing my tasks,” expressed Isla Lomocso, a Christian Brotherhood International (CBI) officer and Children’s Worship Service (CWS) teacher, who attended the occasion at Maramag house of worship.
KADIWA officer Mevelyn Mique, an attendee at Maramag Congregation, said “I’ll be more industrious in fulfilling my duties and never waver in pleasing God.”
District multimedia adviser Brother Jason Salcedo said that attendees were reminded that in fulfilling Church duties, officers should be “motivated by love and concern for the brethren when doing our Church functions to be instrumental towards their being active in serving God.” Although affected by trials and problems happening around, he recalled that officers must be “steadfast to be helpful to the Church Administration in gearing fellow members to nearing salvation by involving them in all the Church’s works.” — With reports from Mayline Mantagias of INC News Section
