Starting 2026 with a renewed zeal and dedication, over 1,500 Church officers from across the Ecclesiastical District of Orange County, California, convened for a special gathering at the Santiago Canyon College in Orange County, California on January 4, 2026.

After a prayer by the district Christian Family Organizations (CFO) overseer Brother Dean Ancheta, district supervising minister Brother Hanzl F. De Dios delivered his Bible-based homily. He reminded the attendees that as their Church duties are entrusted to them by God, it is also Him Who will be with them as they take care of His people in these last days and thereby remain being of help to the Church Administration.

“As we start this new year as officers, it is essential that we get off to a great start since the world isn’t getting any better, as there are a lot of challenges and uncertainties around us,” said Elixar Talampas from the Montclair Congregation. “Even though there are still difficulties and trials, at special events like this one, we are reminded that God is on our side, that is, He strengthens us in the faith, so we will achieve all that He has entrusted us.”

After the homily, 54 new officers took their oath of duty, administered by district auditor Brother Felix Christer Awing. With raised hands, they swore their unwavering loyalty to the Almighty God by faithfully fulfilling their Church duties.

“Yes, there are trials from time to time, but God is merciful. He will help me through them all,” said Emily Buentipo, choir leader and Buklod secretary from Moreno Valley Congregation.

On behalf of the Church officers, Brother De Dios said in an interview after the gathering, “We will keep up our hard work and labor of love for the brethren, for the Church, out of our great desire to give glory to the Almighty God.”
